Received for publication October 1, 1962. was found to be highly sensitive to 9-a-fluoro hydrocortisone (9-AFII) (fl). In 1960, a 9-AFH resistant tumor line was developed from the sub cutaneously transferred line of the lymphosarcoma (19). The effects of steroids and fluoropynimidines were studied alone and in combination on the growth of P1798 neoplasms, sensitive and resist ant to 9-AFII:, in the same host (SO, @1, @3).A number of steroids related to 9-AFH caused re gression of the tumors sensitive to 9-AFH but
